Say what?

Lindsay woke up early as usual this morning, 6:00 am to be exact. Even though its early she's so awake and ready to start the day I can't help but be happy to see her little smile. As I rocked her for a few minutes, she pointed to her foot and said, "Foot". Okay, so maybe it was more pphhffuuut, but we both knew what she meant. Ahhh, little surprises!

She's ONE!!!!!

Lindsay had her first birthday on September 7th, Labor Day. We celebrated with a big BBQ bash with friends and family. Our little princess had a great time and we loved sharing her birthday with everyone. Although its gone faster than I'd like, she's growing and changing just as she should be. At birth she was 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches. Now, she's 22 lbs 10 oz and 28 1/4 inches. She is a happy baby who smiles lots, loves to explore and doesn't like to take no for an answer. We can already see her girl attitude and "drama" showing through. She's extremely loud and vocal and usually at just the wrong time. She hasn't mastered timing just yet. Her vocabulary includes mama, dada, kitty cat, and her favorite, bread. Most everything she eats is bread (at least that's what she's named it). She's been sleeping through the night since about 4 mos old, we've finished breastfeeding about 3 wks ago and now she drinks regular milk. She takes it fine from a bottle but throws a cup if it contains milk. We're working on that. She's walking everywhere with a little help from the walls and couches, it won't be long before she's off on her though. Basically, she's healthy, intelligent, and absolutely beautiful. Lindsay is a joy to our house and truly a blessing from above.

New York City

Researching the aircraft specs
Yep, she'll fit!

Graduating Class

Erin and Eddie

Erin recently graduated from the New York City Paramedic Program. We are very proud of her and were happy to be able to go to attend the graduation. Lindsay, Mom and I flew up for a few days. Lindsay did well on her first flights and seemed to enjoy our visit. Except for the fact that she decided no one but me could hold her the entire trip, we have fun. During our visit, my sister and her boyfriend surprised us by telling us they wanted to get married while we were there. So, it was a full trip. It was great to take part in special events and I'm glad we were able to share all those moments!
