Weekend With GK

After a wonderful Christmas lunch, my mom headed back home, with the little man in tow. It was his first weekend away with GK. After a few minutes of homesickness, he settled in and they had fun seeing movies and playing with Leo's new Lincoln Logs. He's already gearing up for the next stay, but I bet GK needs some time to recuperate first!

Christmas Morning

We had an amazing Christmas this year. Lindsay was old enough to rip some paper, empty bags and get into everyone else's gifts. Leo actually asked for a few specific toys and Santa was kind enough to bring them. Erin wasn't able to be here with us, but sent gifts that were extra special. (I have ugg boots now!) We are very blessed in our family!

Why does Mom insist on capturing this on film?

In the Spotlight

Leo was in his first musical program at school earlier this month. Each class had a Mary and a Joseph. Leo was the Joseph for his class. He was turned around talking or playing most of the time, but it was cute. He told me afterwards that he loved being on stage. Hmmmm, I wonder what he'll be when he grows up?

SNOW!!!!

On Friday of last week, something happened here that doesn't happen often, we had snow fall! It lasted for about 30 minutes and once it was over, you couldn't tell it had ever happened. It was fun to take pics of though and got a great one of a snowflake on Trinity's nose.

We're tired.....Let the kids do it!

Every year it's our job as parents to do all the shopping, cooking, wrapping, and decorating. Well, we're tired and we decided if the kids wanted Christmas decorations, they needed to take care of it themselves. We'll see how is goes, I've already noticed some communication issues between Leo and Lindsay. He says he just can't understand her, maybe he's just not listening hard enough :)
